Hung Body (’09)
This gestural action on paper was taken from the choreographic preperations for the artist’s performance of Psychosis. It would become a recurring image in this artwork and would echo future mental health trauma. Following a period of healing, tjb returned to the image which she would reclaim in oil over a decade later.
