Writing

Dr Tōmei June Bacon’s academic research and other writing is published under the name T J Bacon. She does this to draw distinction between her visual art practice and her writing. However she acknowledges the blurring between both through framing her written practice as an artist-philosopher. She is particularly interested in exploring writing that queers traditions of scholarly correctness, disrupting what is appropriate “form”, and will write to explore multimodal frames of expression; enhancing both the capture of phenomenological encounters and the way in which we experience reading them.
